special collaboration announcement

While we were working on the new bluewhale we’ve been developing a relationship with Downtown Photoroom located on the 12th floor of The Reef, a very unique and artistic multi-purpose building in downtown Los Angeles California. We share a spirit and vision for our community and have been brainstorming what we can do for artists in all different disciplines to expand their creativity and imagination. This coming Saturday we are pleased to present the great David Binney trio with Pera Krstajic and Jonathan Pinson alongside multiple art openings. It’s last minute notice but we feel that we are ready to share with you the first one of many collaborations to come.

Thank you much as always and hope to see many of you. It’s for all ages and free admission.

Hello friends and supporters in LA area, we are planning to have a short explanatory event at the new location before construction with very special guest artists and light drinks and bites. Here is brief direction of the event before you come in for our service will be little different than one we had at the old venue.

Room 1: The first room as you walk in - This will eventually be a restaurant and we will have zero proof cocktails with tiny Korean traditional cookies.

Room 2: This will eventually be a room for classical chamber and world music and two artists will play short solo sets.

Room 3: This will eventually be a room for jazz and blues and two artists will play short solo sets.

Daniel Rotem - Saxophone
Ross Garren - Blues Harp
