Nikos Syropoulos is a pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, and educator based in Los Angeles. A two-time recipient of the ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award, he started playing piano at the age of four and began composing music by the age of 14. Now at 22 years old he is highly sought after as an artist for his beautiful touch at the piano, his musical creativity and sensitivity, and his versatility. He is fluent in many different genres, both as a performer and composer, including jazz, classical, R&B, funk, pop, and folk music.

Nikos has performed all across the United States at venues ranging from Marymoor Park and Edgefield Amphitheater where he opened for The Doobie Brothers, to Lincoln Center, where he performed with Wynton Marsalis. As a member of the Los Angeles based funk band, Pinot, he has toured the country, playing venues such as New York’s, Sullivan Hall, and Santa Monica’s City Hall where the band was featured in the “Jazz on the Lawn” 2010 concert series. He has performance credits with the likes of Maria Schneider, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, John Clayton, Duffy Jackson, and James Moody. Additionally, he has arranged music for Crystal Cruise Lines, the USC Alumni Awards, and performed for the 2nd annual Governor’s Awards.
